my first post for SOUS!

I am so excited to be sharing my first card with you as part of the new Stuck on U Sketches design team. Card challenges will be posted on the first and third Wednesday of each month, so you will have lots of opportunity to join the fun! This is the first challenge for the newly established card sketch challenges and I hope you will play along!

First off here is the sketch we are playing with...

And here is my take on the sketch. I flipped it around and did a portrait orientation rather than the landscape sketch.
and here is a close up so you can see the layering a bit better...
Supplies used: patterned paper: Echo Park; cardstock: Bazzill; stickers: Echo Park; twine: The Twinery; scalloped edge punch; EK Success/SU; stamp: Unity Stamp Co.; misc: marker, photo corners, buttons.

If you want to be chosen as one our top 3 and get a SOUS button for your blog, please just join in our open challenge and submit your project on the SOUS blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by today
reading your kind comments makes my day!

  7. Love the twist on the sketch. It's difficult for me to follow a sketch exactly the way it is... great inspiration. TFS.

  9. Lovely card Becky, love all the layering, especially like the buttons, I always struggle to use buttons, they never seem to look as if they belong, but you have achieved it perfectly. Loving the twine too... Hugs xx
